Sabena is a large Catalan farmhouse just 15 mins from the
Mediterranean and 30 mins from the medieval city of Girona.
May is a perfect
time for capturing the beauty of the many & varied spring
flowers that bloom in the area.
A perfectly tranquil
setting for painting, sketching, walking or simply relaxing.

 |
| The
price includes:
•
15-20 hours painting tuition
• accommodation in beautiful farmhouse
• free access to painting materials.
• breakfast, lunch and 3 course evening meal all

sketch or explore.
The "free" day

Below are some views
of the area around Fonteta. During the holiday, we will organise
a trip to see and paint the medieval village of Peretallada and
also the bay of Calella de Palafrugell on the Mediterranean.

The holiday is an opportunity
to meet like-minded individuals and explore this beautiful and
culturally rich area: nearby there are pine and oak forests; the
rugged bays and beaches of Llafranc and Tamariu or the magnificent
Pyrenees mountains to the north. Each day the group will come
together before supper to discuss their work and get feedback
from Bette if required.
"A
great holiday for meeting people & enjoying the wonderful
region of Catalunya. Zoë & Lee are great hosts; if you
are worried about taking a holiday alone, don't be".
Maggie, Derbyshire

the week Zoe & Lee are on hand to help you see the local area
